Puppy's First Groom — common questions
What age can my puppy have their first groom?
From 12 weeks, once the second vaccination has settled. Earlier visits just to sniff around the salon are welcome and free.
Will my puppy get a full haircut?
Not usually. The first session is about confidence — a gentle bath, a quiet dry, and an introduction to clipper sound. We only trim as much as your puppy is happy with.
How long does it take?
About 45 minutes, and we stop early if your puppy has had enough. Short and positive beats long and thorough at this stage.
How much does a puppy groom cost?
From £28, including written notes on brushing at home.
